Aftercare
General Aftercare (All Nail Services)
- Avoid water for 2–3 hours after your service when possible.
- Wear gloves for cleaning, dishwashing, or gardening.
- Moisturize daily: apply cuticle oil 1–2× per day and hand cream as needed.
- Use your nails as jewels, not tools (no prying, opening cans, or scratching).
- Avoid harsh chemicals like acetone, bleach, and strong detergents.
Gel Polish Aftercare
- Avoid hot water and steam for the first 24 hours.
- Do not peel or pick gel polish—this damages the natural nail.
- Use acetone-free remover only if advised by your nail tech.
- Schedule removal professionally when possible.
Builder Gel Aftercare
- Keep nails dry for the first 24 hours.
- Reapply cuticle oil daily to prevent lifting.
- Avoid pressure or impact—these enhancements are strong but not indestructible.
- Book fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain structure and nail health.
- Never force removal—soaking or professional removal only.
Natural Manicure / Pedicure Aftercare
- Allow polish to fully dry (up to 12 hours for regular polish).
- Apply top coat every 2–3 days to extend wear.
- Exfoliate hands/feet weekly and moisturize daily.
- Use SPF on hands to prevent discoloration and aging.
When to Contact the Salon
